What Is Turmeric
There has been an uptake of people taking turmeric supplements. Yet, Turmeric is possibly most known as one of the main spices within curry. Many recognise it due to its bright yellow colour. It is often used to flavour or colour cheeses, butter, and mustards. In recent years it has been used to colour cosmetics. Turmeric has a long history within traditional medicine.
What Does Turmeric Do in The Body
For many years turmeric has been in traditional Ayurvedic medicine (traditional Indian medicine). Turmeric contains a chemical called Curcumin. Besides having some antioxidant properties, curcumin may reduce inflammation and swelling. The supplement may also support good digestion and reduce cholesterol.
Several studies have shown that turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties. It is also said to be beneficial for those suffering from arthritis. Many have argued that Turmeric has more anti-inflammatory properties than many over-the-counter medications. In several studies, people taking turmeric supplements reported significant improvements in their symptoms.

I came across these capsules by chance and started to take them on a regular basis as I did have issues with my knees. After running out of my initial supply a month or so ago, the aches in my knees have slowly returned, will now make sure I always have them in stock!
